Hand in Hand International
After the first meeting with the co-founder Percy Barnevik and being inspired by his vision and dynamism, TV started its partnership with HiH International in 2015. The organization promotes model of self-help communities for women, combining entrepreneurship and environmental projects.
Our first project was in the “India Village Upliftment Programme”. “Adopting” a village for 2-years, different activities are taking place as for example: self-help groups, health care, child labour elimination programme, environmental protection,…
TV then supported a cohort of eco-entrepreneurs in Kenya, who underwent business and financial training and initiated their own green enterprises, such as beekeeping and ”kitchen gardening”. We are currently supporting a female self-help group working with beekeeping in Northern Afghanistan.
